We are currently in need of hourly temporary staff for several of our operations in Bresätter, Söderköping, and Hannäs, Åtvidaberg. Perhaps you are exactly who we are looking for? Who are we? Our operations consist of residential services and day programs in accordance with LSS (the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). We have several smaller units in both Bresätter, Söderköping, and Hannäs, Åtvidaberg, where we provide individually tailored support to those who live with us and who have various types of mental disabilities. Our operations are grounded in an anthroposophical view of humanity, and employment with us requires openness toward these ideas. We place particular emphasis on creating a comfortable living environment and establishing clear and predictable rhythms in daily life, as well as acknowledging the changing seasons and holidays. As a staff member in our organization, you are expected to plan and perform your work in a manner consistent with the fundamental principles of LSS. Central values are the individual's right to integrity and self-determination. We aim to enable those living with us to live as normally as possible and to experience their existence as meaningful. Based on this, you should be empathetic, flexible, and reflective. Empathetic in order to understand the resident's perspective and provide them with adequate support. Flexible to adapt your working methods based on the resident's daily condition and abilities. Reflective so you can distance yourself from your own convictions about what is right and wrong, and to provide yourself with the conditions to continuously develop in your professional role. Common work tasks include individualized assistance and support in various areas of life, household and gardening duties, and offering those living with us meaningful day and leisure activities. The operations are staffed around the clock, which means on-call duty at the site (nighttime) is part of the position. As a staff member with us, you also assist with matters such as contacts with authorities and health and medical care. You perform social documentation in accordance with applicable legislation and in line with organizational procedures. We are looking for someone who is calm and confident but also a self-starter with an interest in developing and cultivating. We consider it a merit if you have training in one of the areas of nursing care, social work, or education.
