JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Tjörn municipality is currently seeking two foster families in the local area for four children aged 10-16 years. The proximity principle is important so children can maintain contact with their existing network. We are looking for a foster family that can offer clear routines, predictability, and an active leisure life. The children need support with schoolwork and have traumatic experiences. Therefore, it is advantageous if you have previous experience with mental health issues and knowledge of trauma-informed care. We prefer that there are no other children in the home to create the best possible conditions for the children. QUALIFICATIONS Tjörn municipality offers close supervision and the support needed so you as a foster family feel secure in your assignment. A foster family is a home where a child can live for a shorter period or the rest of their childhood. A foster family is a family that can offer a stable and secure life for the placed child. We value diversity and all family constellations can become foster families in our operation. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: Start date by agreement. Tjörn municipality requests an extract from the criminal record register in connection with this recruitment. Visit the police website to request an extract from the criminal record register. This can be done digitally with e-identification or by completing a form. Note that processing time can be up to two weeks; order the extract in good time. Employees in the municipal corporation should have a good work environment and work in balance with family, friends, and leisure.
