Then the position as a family counselor in open care services in Bräcke Municipality might be right for you! We are now looking for a driven and committed family counselor who wants to be part of creating sustainable change. As a family counselor in Bräcke Municipality, you work closely with children, young people, and their families in need of support and change. The work is conducted based on evidence-based methods and proven experience. The content of treatment work is individually tailored based on the child and family's needs and is shaped together with the family based on the assignment. The work also includes interventions and support related to intimate partner violence. We work both in teams and individually. You meet families both in their home environment and in our facilities and work with a focus on relationship, security, and development. The goal is to increase protective factors, reduce risk factors, and for families to receive support and help in their home environment to the greatest extent possible. An important part of this is involving the family's network. Job responsibilities include, among other things: • Work therapeutically and supportively with children, young people, and their parents • Conduct structured conversations, interventions, and follow-ups • Strengthen parental capacity and family communication • Work more practically and concretely where there is a need for family counseling with a more educational focus • Collaborate with schools and other important stakeholders • Document and follow up interventions according to applicable guidelines As a family counselor, you become an important part of a context where you are not alone, but work together with competent and committed colleagues. The service is in an exciting development phase where we focus on strengthening and adapting our work in line with the new social services law. This means that you will have the opportunity to be part of developing the unit's work, including more easily accessible support. Is this you? QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: • Have relevant higher education, for example a degree as a social worker, or other education/experience that the employer considers equivalent • Education and experience within evidence-based interventions are merits • Have a professional, secure, and empathetic approach • Are structured, flexible, and have good collaboration skills • A driver's license is required, as travel is part of the position Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
