Description of duties As a Family Treatment Specialist, you work with qualified change work directed toward children, young people, adults, and families in vulnerable situations. You will vary your approach between pure conversation methodology, manual-based methods, and/or more practical and concrete work, so-called hands-on work. You also need to be comfortable holding group activities directed at different target groups together with a colleague. Your assignments will be focused on the individual, family, and/or a system or network, and you need to be skilled at collaborating with other actors around the individual/family. Collaboration with social secretaries, cooperation with various internal and external activities are important building blocks in the work. Flexibility in your daily work is a prerequisite for being able to work with family treatment in Åstorp Municipality, so you may sometimes need to be on site early in the morning and/or later in the evening. You have the ability to coordinate and drive various processes from a holistic perspective. What support is offered depends on what needs exist. We work actively based on the individual's various needs and offer flexible and individually adapted support based on proven experience and evidence. We work with a salutogenic approach where the activity is characterized by a systemic perspective. The unit, Open Care, is part of Individual and Family Services and consists of 10 employees who, in addition to the above, work with family treatment. You work in close collaboration with your colleagues and the three other units of Individual and Family Services: Investigation and Reception Unit, Foster Care and Follow-up Unit, and Individual and Livelihood Unit. You join a group with great commitment, unpretentiousness, and willingness to collaborate. You have a manager who works with trust-based governance and management and who provides you with the conditions to take personal responsibility. Qualifications You have a degree in social work, behavioral science, social pedagogy, or other relevant education deemed equivalent by the employer. It is desirable to have further education in the field, preferably systemic theory training or other manual-based methods aimed at conducting change work. Meritorious if you have FFT, ABFT, KiBB, MI, basic psychotherapy, child group training, VINR. Driver's license requirement for manual transmission vehicles.
