Learn more at: www.vstruck.se About the Position In your role as a Field Mechanic, you will work with service, repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of primarily trucks but also construction machinery at VS Truck's customer sites. You will have your own customer base and be the direct contact for customers to provide the personalized service that VS Truck has built its company upon. You will plan your service work, order spare parts, and handle service administration. You will have a fully equipped service vehicle and the position is based from your home. Your region is Småland and there is a smaller workshop in Nybro that can be used when needed. More specifically, your work tasks include - Service, repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of trucks and construction machinery - Service and repair planning - Technical support and advice to customers - Spare parts management About You To be a suitable candidate for this position, you have - Experience with mechanical service, installation, and troubleshooting on trucks or heavy machinery - Knowledge of troubleshooting vehicle electrical systems and reading electrical schematics - Experience with field-based work and customer contact in some form - Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written - Class B driver's license As a person, you are self-driven, trustworthy, and it is of utmost importance that you are solution-oriented and can manage multiple focus areas simultaneously. You also have a strong quality mindset and work carefully with both your tasks and subsequent documentation. The role of Field Mechanic also involves multiple contact points both internally and externally. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy communicative roles, have a service-oriented mindset, and find it inspiring to meet with customers. Additional Information Start: By agreement Location: You can conveniently be based in the Växjö and Kalmar areas and surrounding regions.
