Prästavångsskolan has approximately 370 students in total. Currently, the school is divided by grade level into two school units, but as of fall 2026, the school will merge into one F-6 school. The school also has five after-school activity programs; four grade-specific after-school programs for grades F-3 and one shared after-school program for older students in grades 4-6. For many years, the school has worked on health promotion through health councils, values-based teams, and student support teams. Our movement initiative in collaboration with RF-SISU Skåne permeates much of the school's activities and recess time. In recent years, we have also become a Läsa Äger school and linked reading with movement through extra reading-promotion efforts before and during breaks. Reading should be a natural part of both school and after-school activities. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES We're now looking for you—a true inspiration who enjoys developing and growing in your role as a teacher. You work closely with your colleagues both within your grade level and with other teachers throughout grades F-3. The work team has close collaboration and conducts purposeful collegial learning under the guidance of lead teachers, with increased goal achievement in focus. Östra Göinge Municipality is in the midst of a major school initiative that began in 2022. During this year, the initiative has accelerated further in the new phase School Journey 2.0. Our prioritized areas—Knowledge and Learning, Safety and Study Environment, and Future Dreams—are central to all goal-oriented work conducted at the school, with accessible teaching as the foundation. Language-development teaching methods, cooperative learning, and the use of digital tools in instruction are a given. We use iPads in kindergarten and primarily work one-to-one with Chromebooks in grades 1-3. You are well-acquainted with these digital tools and they are a natural part of your teaching. At our school, all staff are encouraged to think creatively and come up with new ideas, which means you have great opportunities to influence your work situation. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for you—a certified teacher with authorization to teach in grades F-3. You are a skilled educator with good didactic ability and can organize and structure your work based on specified goals. You have good self-awareness, are confident in yourself and your pedagogical leadership, and have the ability to take on leadership. You have a professional demeanor in your interactions with students, parents, and colleagues while being attentive and patient. You are well-versed in accessible teaching and apply it in your classroom work. You have high expectations for your students, believe that everyone can succeed, and are prepared to create the best conditions for that to happen. You collaborate easily and see collaboration with others as a source of development. Of course, you also express yourself well both verbally and in writing.
