At the Swedish Migration Agency, we work on one of our time's major societal issues – migration. In total, we are approximately 6,000 people here, and we have an unusually important job! The Agency conducts extensive development work, including within civil defense and mobilization efforts in migration and asylum, with assignments from both the government and the EU. The Swedish Migration Agency's Security Department is part of the head office and holds overall responsibility for security and preparedness throughout the Agency. At the Security Department, experts work with information security, physical security, personnel security, crisis preparedness and civil defense, internal investigations, employee protection, and other security matters across the entire spectrum from operational security to security classification. The Department is led by our Security Director, who also sits on the Agency's management team. The Security Department is in an expansion phase and we are now seeking you to help strengthen our work within security classification with a focus on security-classified procurement. As an expert in the field, you will be placed at the Security Unit where we are responsible for the Agency's security classification and operational security, and where experts in physical security, information security, and security classification are gathered. Operations are characterized by complex threat scenarios and are supported by technical systems with high demands on security and availability. We would appreciate it if you have broad security experience within both operational security and security classification. As an expert with focus on security-classified procurement related to exposure of protected assets, you will work closely with our security classification experts and case handlers, and in close collaboration with the procurement and purchasing unit as well as responsible managers in the operations. You will participate in further development of the field, and in this role you will balance work on development, governance, and follow-up with support to operations. The work requires you to be structured, self-directed, and have the willingness and ability to take your own initiatives. Your ability to interpret, evaluate, and manage complex and sensitive information is crucial in choosing measures and priorities.
