Chef at Runö Möten & Events Runö Möten & Events hotel and conference facility is beautifully located on its own peninsula in Åkersberga, 20 miles north of Stockholm. We have 220 hotel rooms, an event hall of 8,600 sq ft, and around 30 meeting rooms. A restaurant and plenty of spaces for socializing. All surrounded by fantastic archipelago-like natural settings. About the Position We are now looking for a dedicated and professional chef who wants to be part of creating culinary experiences for our conference, hotel, and event guests. With us, you work with cooking from scratch, seasonally adapted ingredients, and a clear sustainability focus. You will be part of a professional kitchen team where collaboration, quality, and work enjoyment are at the center. The Position Involves As a chef at Runö Möten & Events in Åkersberga, you work in a varied kitchen where no two days are the same. The operation includes conference lunches, dinners, banquets, events, and special arrangements. You actively participate in planning, production, and execution and contribute to ensuring our guests have a first-class culinary experience. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing lunches, dinners, banquets, and event meals Cooking from scratch with a focus on quality and sustainability Preparations and mise en place for the day's service Ensuring routines for food hygiene, self-control, and food safety Participating in menu development and improvement work Active work on waste reduction and resource-efficient production Collaboration with the kitchen team to ensure high quality and good service Contributing to a positive work environment and good cooperation between different kitchen functions Working hours vary and include daytime, evenings, and weekends according to schedule. We are Looking for You (Requirements) Have at least 5 years of experience working as a chef Have good experience with cooking from scratch Have solid knowledge of food hygiene and self-control Master Swedish in speech and writing Thrive in a varying work pace and are solution-oriented Are structured, responsible, and quality-conscious Are a team player who gladly goes the extra mile to achieve results both individually and as a team Have a genuine interest in ingredients, cooking, and gastronomic development Meritorious Experience from hotel, conference, or restaurant operations Experience working with large production volumes Experience with special diets and allergen management Education in restaurants and food We believe you have a driver's license and access to a car since we are some distance from the nearest public transportation.
