About the Rehabilitation Unit in Sala Municipality The Rehabilitation Unit is an important part of the Health and Care Office and consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants with broad expertise. The operation works in a preventive, rehabilitative, and health-promoting manner and plays a central role in the transition to proximity-based care. Our employees work in close collaboration with home health care, special housing, home care services, disability services, benefits officers, and other internal and external partners. Your assignment – to lead with wholeness, courage, and trust As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, quality, work environment, personnel, and budget. Your assignment includes, among other things: Leading, coaching, and developing employees in their professional growth Creating conditions for close, trust-based, and sustainable leadership Ensuring good, safe, and person-centered rehabilitation in accordance with laws, guidelines, and best practices Driving development and improvement work with a focus on future proximity-based care, preventive approaches, and welfare technology Strengthening teamwork and interprofessional collaboration together with nurses, care staff, and other collaborative partners Being an active part of the management group for health and medical care, where we together develop future municipal health and medical care You will join an operation where competence is high, commitment is great, and we believe that development happens best together. Who are you? We are looking for you who want and dare to lead – with both heart and direction. We see that you: Have adequate higher education, preferably as a licensed occupational therapist or physiotherapist Have leadership experience, as a manager or through another leadership role Are secure, clear, and attentive in your leadership Have experience in municipal elderly care Have a good understanding of the importance of rehabilitation and the mandate of municipal health and medical care Create engagement, participation, and trust among your employees Have an interest in development, quality, digitalization, and new working methods Are a good communicator with the ability to collaborate with many different professions You have good computer skills and feel confident working in various operational systems and Office.
