The Unit Manager Role at Our Organization In the department, you are expected to be involved in our demographic change journey. You will be part of a management group where you have several manager colleagues with expertise in Supported Housing and Personal Assistance. In addition to this, you have support functions in methods and development, HR, and finance. Together, we all help and support each other to develop our operations, both within supported housing and other areas within individual and family care and other departments. As unit manager, you are responsible for two to three units with approximately 30 employees, where you have personnel and workplace environment responsibility, budget responsibility, and responsibility for systematic quality work. At the units, we work with methods such as low-arousal approaches, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), and clarifying pedagogy, MI (motivational interviewing). Currently, you will be responsible for two operations; however, the position's structure will change during 2027 due to the operations' future needs. This means we value a flexible and humble approach to your assignment. Your Profile You are a confident leader who promotes collaboration and adapts to change. You create engagement and trusting relationships with colleagues and involve employees in goal-oriented work that contributes to the entire operation's development. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as this is required in your daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. We are looking for you who have: A relevant completed higher education degree for the position, such as a degree in social work. Relevant management experience with full personnel responsibility within LSS and SOL legislation. Studied social law. Good knowledge of relevant methods, such as low-arousal approaches, AAC, motivational interviewing, and other methods and work approaches within the operations area. You have gained these skills through experience or training. Good knowledge of comorbidity, substance abuse, and psychiatry, which knowledge you have gained through experience or training. Experience with IBIC. Experience working with scheduling and staffing issues. Class B driver's license. Once you have entered the role as unit manager, you will have on-call duty for approximately three weeks per year. Good leadership is important to us at Kungsbacka Municipality. Therefore, all our managers attend the "Developmental Leadership" (UL) training. In addition, we have a common introduction program for our managers so you feel well prepared for your assignment.
