In Sannahed there are two residential facilities for people with cognitive illnesses; Bataljonen and Hemgården. Bataljonen has 18 apartments and Hemgården has 15 apartments, of which five are used for people with alternating care decisions. Hemgården also houses the municipality's day care services. As one of the unit manager positions has been expanded, we want to welcome an additional unit manager. You will be based at Bataljonen with close collaboration with a manager colleague at Hemgården. You will become part of our operations where we work together to provide the best care and services for those we serve. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a unit manager, you are responsible for making the unit an attractive workplace where you motivate and engage your staff to work as a team with the resident as the central focus. You have overall responsibility for finances, personnel, and work environment. You work to create a good work environment for your staff and contribute to the team being responsible and motivated in their mission. You lead and engage your staff in running operations with a focus on quality, safety, and continuity. You are part of the management team with six manager colleagues, where collaboration, support, and shared responsibility are essential. As a unit manager, you will receive close support from the operations manager and manager colleagues, as well as support functions such as operations support assistant, HR, and accounting. Our leadership platform is the foundation for the activities and initiatives that make up leadership development and clarifies the type of management and leadership the municipality wants to promote. We offer you the opportunity to grow as a leader, including through training and manager forums, and we expect you to build on your strengths and work on your development areas. In our leadership initiative, we offer, among other things, MI for managers and training in collaboration with Framgångsakademin. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with an academic degree in a relevant field. You also need to have management experience from municipal operations, healthcare, or other operations that the employer considers relevant. We see that you are a good team player, possess drive and want to advance development at different levels. You need to have a positive, humble, and unpretentious approach, as well as great willingness and motivation to help create even better care and services together. You have the ability to create structure to achieve goals. You have a solution-focused, goal-oriented, and process-oriented working style and are clear in your communication and, importantly, confident in making decisions. It is a merit if you have in-depth knowledge of work environment, labor law, and/or change management. Great weight will be placed on personal qualities. Interview 1 will be held on 6/24 and 6/25.
