The Social Services Department is responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Care Act, and we must implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are centered on the individual to meet their needs. The task involves strong customer focus and a service-oriented mindset. Home care in Motala Municipality consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, nursing assistants, and rehabilitation assistants. We work in teams with elderly care, LSS operations, and daily activities for the benefit of our citizens. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking a unit manager for a personnel group consisting of nurses in regular housing and healthcare nursing assistants working in regular and special housing. Together with the Operations Manager and four other management colleagues, these form a management group that shares responsibility for developing the future of municipal home care in Motala. The role also includes close collaboration with the municipality's MAS and MAR. The assignment includes cooperating with unit managers and operations managers within the Social Services Department and participating in development work within the department as well as in the municipality at large, and with the region. QUALIFICATIONS Formal competencies: - We are looking for someone with higher education in an appropriate field, such as a licensed nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. It is particularly meritorious if you are a licensed nurse. - You have experience working in the healthcare field. - You hold a Class B driving license for manual transmission vehicles. - You have excellent Swedish language skills (spoken and written) and good computer skills. - You have leadership training and experience working as a manager. You have knowledge and understanding of the democratic process and the meaning of a politically governed organization. Employment type: Permanent employment.
