The Care Administration is seeking a Unit Manager for disability services with a focus on LSS residential care and LSS short-term residential care. This is a permanent position at 100% with start date as soon as possible or by agreement. The disability services organization has approximately 130 employees total, with operations led by one Department Manager and four Unit Managers. As a manager within disability services, you will be involved in shaping our organization. You will be responsible for your operational area, which includes personnel management, budget responsibility, and results accountability. What are we looking for? We are seeking a Unit Manager for residential LSS services in our municipality. We are looking for a leader who enjoys collaborative work and quality improvement with the ability to create a positive development climate. You have experience in management and financial control. Together with your staff, you will contribute to achieving the goals of the disability services and create conditions for a good work environment where staff ideas and contributions are valued. Qualifications Educational requirements for the position are a degree in social work or social pedagogy from a university or college, or other equivalent education that meets the requirements of the National Board of Health and Welfare. You will be responsible for personnel, operations, and finances, which requires experience in management and financial control. We place great emphasis on your commitment and your ability to work flexibly according to changing operational needs. You will also be part of the management group for disability services. You must have good knowledge of applicable legislation. Experience working within this operational area and previous management experience are requirements. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We want you to have a valid B driver's license and good IT skills.
