Elderly care at Orust is facing a development where the number of elderly people is increasing and needs are becoming more complex. We therefore actively work to develop our methods, including through IUB and framework decisions, to create greater flexibility and better adaptation based on individual needs. Collaboration with family members is a central part, where a professional approach and clear roles contribute to a sustainable operation. Your Tasks The assignment involves shared leadership where you work in close collaboration with two management colleagues. Together, you are responsible for the whole with a focus on quality, work environment, and development. The area of responsibility includes two special residences: In one residence, you share full management responsibility with a colleague and lead the operation jointly In the other, you have a more supportive and administrative role with a focus on structure, follow-up, and management support As a unit manager, you will: lead, develop, and follow up on the operation take responsibility for quality, employees, finances, and work environment work close to the operation in daily practice drive improvement work collaborate with colleagues, support functions, and other professionals You report to the operations manager and are part of a management structure with shared responsibility for the whole. About You We are looking for you – a confident and clear leader with good collaboration skills. You are structured, responsible, and communicative, with the ability to lead through change with a solution-focused approach. Requirements: Relevant higher education in care and health services, such as social worker, behavioral scientist, political scientist, or equivalent qualification Several years of experience in care and health services Leadership experience, for example as a first-line manager or management support Knowledge of the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act Class B driving license Meritorious: Management experience within elderly care Leadership training Experience with budgets, personnel responsibility, and development work Experience with digital systems and welfare technology Other Information: Interviews will be held during weeks 33 and 34 Working time/duration: Full-time, permanent Salary: Individual salary setting Start date: September 1, 2026, or by agreement Application deadline: July 26, 2026 Driving license: Class B driving license is required For Orust Municipality, it is self-evident that diversity and equality benefit the work group, the workplace, and the employer.
