Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you provide individualized support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique and your work tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly. About the Role The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and takes responsibility. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. The client is a 70-year-old man who lives in his own apartment in Munkfors. He likes animals and activities, so we would appreciate it if you share his interest in being active and are comfortable in environments with animals. The client uses a wheelchair and transfers are part of the job. We are looking for you who meet the following criteria: - Want to work with a man in his 70s living in Munkfors - Have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written - Have previous experience working as a personal assistant or in a similar care profession - Are comfortable with fur-bearing animals - Are smoke-free during working hours - Have good physical fitness and can perform transfers It is also advantageous if you: - Have previous experience with transfer aids - Share the client's interests Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Degree, and Salary: We are currently looking for two personal assistants for two positions: For one position, the current employment form is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment degree of approximately 75%. Working hours are scheduled during daytime. We are also looking for a personal assistant for a temporary position starting immediately and extending until 2026-09-01. The employment degree is approximately 92%. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, evening, and night shifts. Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date immediately or by agreement. Working at Humana A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you as an applicant can present a valid ID document and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden.
