Since early 2020, we have been located in a brand new production facility at the Tokebacka industrial area along E20 just outside Alingsås. Here we have just over 3000 square meters of assembly space at our disposal, which gives us plenty of room to handle large and complex projects. From 2021, Elpro in Alingsås is part of the industrial group Sustainion Group. Job Description As an electrical assembler in our workshop, you will be an important part of production and work on projects ranging from smaller to larger assignments. Together with your team, you are responsible for the entire assembly – from blueprints to finished and delivery-ready products. You work based on instructions from our design department or directly from the customer, assembling electrical panels, performing drilling in cabinets, installing components, and labeling and connecting cables. You also participate in testing, preparation, and packaging for delivery. This is a varied role where you get to combine practical work with technical skills and quality thinking at every step. Qualifications We are looking for someone with experience from an electrical field, preferably as an electrical cabinet assembler or similar work. You have a technical interest, are curious to learn new things, and enjoy working carefully and systematically. You are practically minded, take responsibility for your tasks, and work well with others. At the same time, you are flexible and ready to pitch in where needed to get the job done with the right quality. We are looking for someone with: - Education from an electrical and energy program or equivalent training - Experience reading technical drawings Meritorious: - Previous experience in apparatus cabinet construction Additional Information Here you are offered a long-term opportunity with direct employment at Elpro.
