About the role The Electrical Engineer position at Ahlstrom is a broad and varied role where you follow the entire chain—from idea to finished solution in operation. Examples of work tasks: Plan, design, and document electrical and automation solutions Develop drawing documentation Participate in investments and projects—from design to commissioning Support colleagues with equipment procurement and during the installation phase Program control systems You'll be part of the technical and maintenance department, which consists of about 50 employees with different specialist competencies who work closely together. You work close to operations—which means you'll quickly see the results of your work. The work takes place onsite at the factory in Billingsfors. Your profile We're looking for someone with a technical background and a few years of experience from industrial operations. We believe you have: Education in electrical engineering, or equivalent experience Experience with AutoCAD and/or Engineering Base Experience with PLC/SCADA, DCS Experience from process industry or other technically complex environments Experience with assembly or installation is a merit Swedish and English fluently, both spoken and written As a person, you are: Structured and quality-conscious Independent and enjoy collaboration Curious and solution-oriented Why choose Ahlstrom At Ahlstrom, you'll meet a workplace where people enjoy their work and stay for a long time.
