About the Role The Electrical Engineer position at Ahlstrom is a broad and varied role where you follow the entire chain - from idea to finished solution in operation. Examples of work tasks: Plan, design, and document electrical and automation solutions Prepare technical drawings and documentation Participate in investments and projects - from engineering to commissioning Support colleagues with equipment procurement and during the installation phase Programming of control systems You will be part of the Engineering and Maintenance department, which consists of around 50 employees with different specialist competencies who work closely together. You work close to operations - which means you quickly see the results of your work. Work is conducted onsite at the factory in Billingsfors. Your Profile We are looking for someone with a technical background and several years of experience from industrial operations. We believe you have: Education in electrical engineering, or equivalent experience Experience with AutoCAD and/or Engineering Base Experience with PLC/SCADA, DCS Experience from process industry or other complex technical environments Experience with assembly or installation is a merit Swedish and English fluently in speech and writing As a person, you are: Structured and quality-conscious Independent and enjoy collaboration Curious and solution-oriented Why Choose Ahlstrom At Ahlstrom, you meet a workplace where people thrive and stay for a long time.
