Description Skogsbäcks School's adapted primary school with a subject area focus is a school where we welcome students with multiple disabilities. The majority are at an early developmental level and have significant care needs. The school currently has four classes and a special preschool, Lilla Rummet. Duties We are currently seeking a student assistant for adapted primary school. As a student assistant, you are expected to follow planning, implementation, and instruction. In the role of substitute student assistant, your duties include supporting the student in their school context and contributing to a pedagogical environment that stimulates and challenges students' development and learning. We are looking for someone who is attentive to students' individual conditions and needs. Each class has approximately 4-5 students. The majority of students have multiple disabilities and are at a very early developmental level, where significant pedagogical care and support is involved. The teacher leads and collaborates with student assistants regarding work methods and student instruction based on Lgra22. Qualifications You have student assistant training and experience working in adapted primary schools, particularly with students with multiple disabilities and significant care needs. Of course, you have the ability to build trusting relationships by being communicative and attentive in your interactions both within and outside the school. Using digital technology as a natural part of instruction is a given. Experience with AAC and sign language is a merit, as are experience and knowledge of explicit pedagogy and low-affective interaction approaches. We place particular emphasis on experience working with students at early developmental levels.
