JOB DUTIES As a teaching assistant, your main task is to support one or more students throughout their school day. You serve as an extension of the student and create conditions for participation, security, and learning in both school and after-school care. The work involves participating in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of educational activities based on the curriculum (Lgr22). Values-based work permeates all activities, and you actively contribute to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment. You work closely with students during both school and after-school hours and are part of a team with teachers and recreation pedagogues. Together, you plan and implement instruction and activities based on shared subject areas. QUALIFICATIONS We are now seeking a teaching assistant with upper secondary education from a child and recreation program, or other education that the employer considers equivalent, with experience working with students in need of special support. You should have knowledge of explicit pedagogy and be well familiar with your assignment based on the school's current governing documents. It is important that you are confident in your professional role and that you are clear with students, parents, and colleagues. Great importance is placed on personal suitability and the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
