As an electrician on our Mill-wide Service Team in Boden, you'll have a central role in ensuring operational safety for cranes, lifting equipment, and packaging machines. Your responsibilities will include: Diagnose and repair electrical faults in control systems and electrical panels for cranes and lifting equipment. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on low and medium voltage systems. Inspect machines, transformers, circuit breakers, and cabling to ensure safe operation. Troubleshoot electrical problems using electrical schematics, drawings, and measuring equipment. Program and configure electrical control systems. Train operators in basic maintenance and electrical safety procedures. Ensure LOTO procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment are followed. We're Looking for Someone Who: Has vocational training or equivalent qualifications in electrical work, with strong knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting. Holds safety certification, such as ESA or OSHA; crane or welding certificates are a plus. Has experience from heavy industry, such as steel mills, manufacturing, or mining. Is familiar with Swedish and European safety standards and industry regulations. Has a strong safety focus and the ability to mentor colleagues. Is meticulous, independent, and organized, but also enjoys collaborating. Is in good physical condition and comfortable working at heights and carrying tools. Has good English skills; basic Swedish is a plus.
