Your Assignment Are you interested in working with wastewater pumping stations, water treatment plants, pressure booster stations, and water towers? If so, the Operations Technician role in water & wastewater might be for you. As an operations technician with us, you help ensure the delivery of clean drinking water and proper handling of wastewater in a safe and sustainable manner. You work closely with both colleagues and contractors and play an important role in keeping our facilities running 24/7. The work is varied and includes both planned and emergency operations. You perform monitoring, operational oversight, and preventive maintenance, and work on troubleshooting and addressing operational issues. You also participate in projects, improvement initiatives, and monitoring of facility performance. Sampling, inspections, and documentation in our systems are a natural part of your daily work. Since our facilities contain significant electrical and automation systems, it's an advantage if you have knowledge of or interest in these areas. On-call duty is part of the position. Your Background To succeed in this role, you have: knowledge of operations and maintenance technology a couple of years of professional experience in a similar field training as an operations technician or experience working in water & wastewater. You need to have: good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written experience working with digital systems such as Microsoft Office a valid Class B driver's license (required for this position). It's a merit if you have experience with control and automation systems, work within plumbing systems, or other technical background in water and environmental engineering.
