About the Company Since the 1960s, Orsa Grönklitt has been a place where skiing joy, nature, and community are central. Here cross-country and alpine skiing meet in a nature-close skiing experience with well-groomed trails, family-friendly slopes, and year-round activities in the heart of Dalarna. We are now seeking several operations workers for our facility ahead of the upcoming season! The recruitment encompasses three different specializations within operations: Alpine, Operations & Facilities, and Cross-Country & Trail. All positions are handled in the same recruitment process, and in your application you specify which specialization best matches your experience and skills. Your Responsibilities As an operations worker with us, you help ensure the daily operations, development, and quality of one of Sweden's leading ski and outdoor facilities. The work is varied, season-dependent, and takes place largely outdoors, often in close collaboration between different parts of the operation. All positions involve shift work with evenings, weekends, and on-call duty, plus a strong focus on safety, quality, and guest experience. Operations Worker Alpine – Working Supervisor This specialization suits you if you have experience in alpine operations and want to combine practical work with responsibility for planning and supervision. You are responsible for operations, maintenance, and development of lift facilities and work closely with the operations manager in daily activities. The role includes work with lifts, slopes, snowmaking, and alpine areas, as well as participation in maintenance and investment projects. You lead and support staff in daily work and contribute to safe and efficient operations. We are looking for you who: · Have experience with lift operations and snowmaking · Have SLAO's operator certificate for slope or trail equipment · Have good technical understanding and machine experience · Enjoy a leadership and operational role Advantages include experience in supervisory roles, lift technician training, and knowledge of the ATASS system. Operations Worker Operations & Facilities This specialization suits you if you want to work broadly with operations, service, and maintenance within a ski and outdoor facility. You work with daily operations and maintenance of lifts, slope equipment, and snowmaking systems, as well as participating in repair, maintenance, and investment projects. The role also includes facility and infrastructure-related tasks where you contribute to safety, order, and a well-functioning operations environment. We are looking for you who: · Have experience with operations work at a ski or outdoor facility · Have SLAO's operator certificate for slope or trail equipment · Have a B driver's license · Are technically interested and have good machine experience Advantages include lift technician training and knowledge of the ATASS system. Operations Worker Cross-Country & Trail This specialization suits you if you have a strong interest in cross-country skiing, trail quality, and work in forest and terrain. You work with grooming and preparation of cross-country trails, as well as operations and maintenance of trail systems and machines. The work also includes operation of slope equipment, snowmobiles, and all-terrain vehicles, as well as clearing and forest work. When needed, you also participate in snowmaking and other operations tasks within the facility. We are looking for you who: · Have a B driver's license · Have experience with machine work · Enjoy independent outdoor work · Have a strong interest in cross-country skiing and trail quality Advantages include operator certificates for slope equipment, snowmobile, or all-terrain vehicles, as well as A+B chainsaw certification.
