Our daily work at the health center is varied and we meet patients of all ages with different needs. We are looking for a nurse/district nurse with a particular interest in dementia care. Work Duties The work is varied and your responsibilities include assessing health problems during scheduled visits, telephone consultations, or digitally via 1177 Direct. If you have experience working in dementia care, memory consultations will also be part of your duties. You work both independently and in close collaboration with other professional categories. Improvement work for the entire health center is an important part of the daily work. About the Workplace The 11 region-operated health centers and Primary Care Emergency Clinics in Västmanland are run as an internal enterprise with a civil service board and Region Västmanland as the owner. The health center is centrally located in Hallstahammar and the business also has a branch clinic in Kolbäck. The health center has parking and good bus connections to, among other places, Västerås. We are responsible for approximately 12,350 registered patients and offer doctor and district nurse consultations, maternal and child health care, and rehabilitation with physiotherapist and counseling services. Dietitian, health center, and occupational therapist are also available at the health center certain days of the week. Preferably, you have experience with telephone consultations and clinic work. You have experience with the Cosmic medical record system and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Employment Terms The position is a temporary role until March 2027, full-time with start date by agreement. You will work at both Hallstahammar and Kolbäck.
