We are seeking a district nurse/registered nurse with the possibility to start work on short notice, as we have a planned leave of absence. Healthcare Center Kil has 11,500 registered patients and approximately 30 employees. We are a well-functioning healthcare center with experienced and dedicated staff. We are a great group that really enjoys working together and cares about one another! The healthcare center is beautifully located approximately two miles north of Karlstad and has good transportation connections—both bus and train are available options. You will work in a team with other district nurses/registered nurses, physicians (district, ST, and AT physicians), nursing assistants, healthcare administrators, podotherapist, social workers, rehabilitation coordinator, and maintenance staff. The healthcare center also has a physiotherapy clinic, BMM, BVC, and a laboratory. Your Responsibilities As a district nurse or registered nurse, you will work in primary care with, among other things, independent clinic work and telephone consultations. For acute patient care, our approach is based on an interdisciplinary acute team. We also offer specialist nurse clinics for diabetes, heart failure, asthma/COPD, and dementia.
