Your Assignment With us, you will work in close collaboration with all professions at the health center. Your work tasks consist of clinic work with acute and scheduled visits mainly directed toward elderly patients. You will be responsible for a care facility and responsible for home care services and conducting team home visits with the municipality's nurses. We have good routines and excellent collaboration with the municipality. This also includes supervising medical students and AT/ST physicians, as well as some on-call duties. Your Competence We are looking for someone with specialist competence in general medicine or geriatrics, with Swedish medical license and good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You enjoy working together with other professions close to the patient and want to contribute to the development of the organization. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Our Operations Östervåla is located in beautiful agricultural and forest countryside in Heby Municipality northwest of Uppsala. The health center has 31 dedicated employees consisting of physicians, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, physiotherapist, dietitian, psychologist, and social worker. We are responsible for 6,300 registered patients. The operations also include a district nurse clinic in Tärnsjö. We work with the patient as our focus and are strongly committed to quality and patient safety. The health center is part of the Primary Care and Health department in Region Uppsala.
