Region Dalarna is transitioning to a future health and care system, Good and Close Care, with primary care at its core. Vårdcentral Kvarnsveden is one of three publicly operated healthcare centers in Borlänge with approximately 12,800 registered patients and around 50 employees. We prioritize teamwork, a good work environment, and high patient safety. We are now seeking a district physician who wants to work in an operation where we develop primary care together. Our goal is to create a sustainable workplace where the right competence does the right things, where the team around the patient is strong, and where quality and continuity are natural parts of our daily work. About the role As a district physician with us, you will be a central part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other professionals. Together, we work systematically to: - provide safe, secure, and accessible care - improve work environment and workflows - strengthen continuity and quality in primary care We actively engage in improvement work and would welcome your contribution to developing future approaches in primary care. What we offer - A workplace where teamwork is evolving - Focus on sustainable work environment and reasonable workload - Opportunity to influence and develop the healthcare center of the future - Collegial support and an open climate Listing 1100/district physician Responsibilities - Patient consultations with varying medical conditions and needs - Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases - Collaboration with other healthcare providers and specialist colleagues - Coverage of primary care on-call and standby shifts - Supervision of training physicians at various levels - When needed, work with home healthcare/residential care/LSS services and child health/maternal health clinics Qualifications Requirements - Licensed physician with specialist competence in general medicine - Experience working at a healthcare center Personal qualities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Responsive, informative, and communicative with both patients and colleagues - Engaged and responsible for both operational and personal development You have an interest in primary care and value collaboration and teamwork.
