Östhammar Health Center Our 1800 employees work with primary care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Your tasks include clinic work with good opportunities for other stimulating assignments such as supervising medical residents and responsibility for various clinical processes based on your interests. Part of the work includes developing our operations, and you will have good opportunities to influence work schedules and booking systems, thus affecting your work environment. On-call and standby duties are also part of the role, as they are throughout primary care in Region Uppsala. We offer the possibility to work partially from a distance. If interested, there is an opportunity to combine your work at the health center with work at the Närvårdsenhet, which is a care unit located at the health center. Your Qualifications We are looking for a physician with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish medical license and good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Since we are now at a stage where we have great opportunities to develop our operations, it is meritorious if you have an interest in healthcare development with the patient and patient flows in focus. It is also beneficial if you enjoy working in teams with other professionals around patients to achieve efficient workflows. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. Our Operations We are the health center with great opportunities and we are looking for you who wants to develop with us! Here, care is provided within a health center complex that includes a health center, urgent care clinic, primary care unit, and short-term care unit, and we have X-ray and lab services in the same building. We are located by the sea in an archipelago environment in Östhammar with good connections, approximately 70 km from Uppsala. The bus stops nearby and there is free parking at the health center. Here, all professionals work closely together to provide the best possible care, and you can be part of our team! We have approximately 6500 listed patients and we are 30 employees offering most services within primary care. We have very well-functioning nurse-led clinics.
