Östhammars Health Center Our 1800 employees work with primary care and health in Uppsala Region. We offer a broad range of services within primary healthcare. Your responsibilities include reception work with good opportunities for other stimulating tasks such as mentoring of junior doctors (BT/AT/ST) and responsibility for various clinical processes based on your interests. As part of the work, you will be involved in developing our operations and will have good opportunities to influence work arrangements and scheduling, thereby affecting your work environment. On-call and standby duties are also included, as they are throughout primary care in Region Uppsala. We offer the possibility to work partially remotely. If interested, there is an opportunity to combine your work at the health center with work at the Närvård Unit, which is a care ward located at the health center. Your Qualifications We are looking for you as a physician with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish medical license and good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Since we are currently at a stage where we have great opportunities to develop our operations, it is a merit if you have an interest in healthcare development with patients and patient flows in focus. It is also good if you appreciate working in teams with other professions around patients to create efficient flows. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. Our Operations We are the health center with great possibilities and we are looking for you who want to develop together with us! Here we provide care at our health center, which consists of a primary care clinic, urgent care clinic, a Närvård unit, and a short-stay unit, and we have X-ray and laboratory services in the same building. We are located by the sea in an archipelago setting in Östhammar with good connections, approximately 70 kilometers from Uppsala. The bus stops nearby and there is free parking at the health center. Here all professions work closely together to provide the best possible care, and you can become part of our team! We have approximately 6,500 listed patients and 30 employees offering most services within primary care. We have well-functioning nurse-led clinics.
