Heby Health Center Our 1800 employees work with primary care and health services in Uppsala County. We offer a broad range of services within primary care. Our patients visit us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within rehabilitation services, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Your responsibilities include clinic work with excellent opportunities for other stimulating tasks such as supervising BT/AT/ST physicians and responsibility for various clinical processes based on your interests. As part of the role, you will be involved in developing our operations, and you will have good opportunities to influence work arrangements and scheduling, allowing you to shape your work environment. The position also includes some on-call/standby duty as is standard throughout primary care in Region Uppsala. Your Qualifications We are looking for a physician with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish medical license and strong ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Since we are currently in a phase with great opportunities to develop our operations, it is a merit if you have an interest in healthcare development with patient focus and patient flows in focus. It is also valuable if you appreciate working in teams with other professions around patients to create efficient workflows. We place great importance on personal qualities. Our Operations Heby Health Center is part of the Primary Care and Health department of Region Uppsala and is located in western Uppland with approximately 7,000 listed patients and 30 employees working in teams. Our operations are broad, with all professional disciplines represented within the health center's mandate. We also have a youth clinic. At Heby Health Center, we work to maintain a good work environment with "open doors" and satisfied patients. We work in close collaboration between all professions, and our guiding principle is "freedom under responsibility," where you have great opportunity to influence your work situation as long as operational goals are met. The broad variety of patients creates a stimulating and developmental workplace. We have diabetes, asthma/COPD, and heart failure nurses with their own clinics, an elderly care clinic, and a district nurse working with hypertension patients. We also conduct targeted health conversations for 40-year-olds. With us, you will have a patient list of maximum 1100 patients. We hold physician meetings every week where we prioritize competence development and collegial collaboration.
