JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an electrical technician at Sandviken Energi, you will work solving technical problems that may arise on our electrical grid in the field. Together with nine technician colleagues, you will work with preventive and corrective maintenance as well as reinforcements and new connections on the electrical grid. The operations control center manages daily operations, where your task will be to perform switching work in our substations located at various locations in the municipality. In addition, we perform inspections and rounds of network, distribution, and receiving stations, as well as inspect and maintain equipment in these facilities. On-call duty is part of the position. QUALIFICATIONS You have upper secondary school competency in electrical work or equivalent education and several years of experience in the electrical industry. You are comfortable handling digital devices. If you have work experience in electricity distribution and power training as a distribution electrician/line technician, this is advantageous. It is also advantageous if you hold an EBR diploma as a distribution electrician. As a person, you are responsible and able to work both independently and in a group. You demonstrate strong commitment to your work and take initiative, are thorough, and have excellent teamwork skills. You have a good ability to read and follow instructions and to communicate both verbally and in writing in Swedish. Most of our instructions are in Swedish, but English may occur. In interactions with customers and colleagues, you act with good conduct while maintaining a high focus on safety. You should not be afraid of working at height, as we perform work on our overhead power lines. A class B driving license is required for this position. Employment type: Permanent employment.
