About the Role You're an important team member in the Tax Agency's Technical Services Unit. As a database administrator, you'll be part of a team working on further development and management of the Tax Agency's database services based on Oracle Database Enterprise. In addition to your nearest colleagues in the database team, you'll collaborate with several other teams within areas such as Red Hat Linux, Windows Server, virtualization, storage, automation, and IT security. The Tax Agency's IT department is one of Sweden's largest with approximately 1,500 employees distributed across six locations. Teams work proactively to standardize and automate the management of the large volume of databases and implement high IT security requirements. Almost all database orders and additional services are handled through self-service. You should also have: multiple years of current work experience with Oracle Database multiple years of current work experience with database platforms with emphasis on infrastructure; installation, configuration, lifecycle management, automation, and IT security work experience with large Linux/Unix environments experience with Oracle RMAN and Data Guard experience with automation and programming in SQL, Bash scripting It's desirable that you have knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL optimization and performance analysis, PL/SQL. Good to Know The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period. Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security clearance with background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision is made.
