Read more at www.gustavsberg.com Your Responsibilities Gustavsberg manufactures couplings and faucets in brass for water systems in residential and multi-family buildings. Batch sizes vary between 2,000-50,000 units. Since operators typically run multiple machines, there is approximately one changeover per shift. We are in the middle of upgrading our machine park, which means we are replacing old machines with new, state-of-the-art equipment. Shift work occurs. Our machine park is evolving and we are therefore seeking new expertise at our facility in Vårgårda. We are now looking for a driven and meticulous CNC operator/setter (preferably with some programming competence in ISO) for Gustavsberg's turning department. The position involves operating both modern and older bar-fed lathes with magazines, where the older ones will be gradually phased out. Our current machine park consists of: Index, Gildermeister (multi-spindle), Wickman (Multi-spindle), Citizen, EMCO, Mazak, and simpler Traub lathes. The position initially focuses on handling/running machines with measurement, tolerance correction, and loading, preparing and performing changeovers. For the right person, the role will develop with the opportunity to work on CNC program programming. Your Profile We are now looking for someone who has experience with CNC turning. We would like to see that you are a responsible, driven, and proactive person who has the capacity and desire to develop with us as our machine park changes in the coming years. Do not be afraid to ask for help, but start by trying to solve problems yourself. Good troubleshooting ability and logical thinking are desirable. We work in groups even though individuals have their own areas of responsibility, so you need to be used to collaborating with others but also be able to work independently. We are looking for a long-term placement, so proximity to Vårgårda is desirable. Requirements: Speak and write Swedish well. Experience with CNC work either through education or work with good references. Be able to handle machines mechanically as changeovers are part of the work. Measure and read drawings.
