About the Position As a CNC and Tool Technician at RMIG, you work with the manufacturing, adjustment, and maintenance of tools for perforation production and become an important part of the tool department. The role combines programming and planning with practical work on machines and involves significant responsibility in your daily work. The work is carried out both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and production, where flexibility and problem-solving skills are important parts of everyday life. Your Main Responsibilities: Work on CNC milling, wire EDM, and surface grinding machines, as well as manual turning when needed Programming and planning in Mastercam Manufacturing, adjustment, and maintenance of tools Quality control, measurement, and blueprint reading Handling of varied work tasks and priorities based on production needs Heavy lifting may occur You belong to the tool department but also work closely with production in your daily work to ensure proper function and quality. The role offers significant freedom with responsibility where you are expected to be responsive, flexible, and solution-oriented. The position is full-time and involves daytime hours, Monday–Friday. You are thorough, solution-oriented, and quality-conscious with good analytical skills and the ability to adapt to production needs. To succeed in this role, we see that you: Have education in an industrial program and/or equivalent experience from a workshop or manufacturing industry, minimum 2-5 years Have experience working independently throughout the entire machining process, including programming, tool setup, and operation Have good understanding of blueprint reading and mechanical manufacturing Enjoy practical work and have good machine experience It's a merit if you have: Experience working with CNC milling, wire EDM, or surface grinding Experience with programming and planning in Mastercam We see that you have good computer skills and administrative ability. Otherwise, you communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written; English is a merit.
