You will join Availability Group 94, where we have 23 employees. Together we perform aircraft inspections on JAS39 C/D/E and technical maintenance on JAS39 C/D/E. About the Unit The Aircraft Maintenance Unit is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of our Gripen aircraft as well as all maintenance equipment related to the aircraft. The unit also handles daily flight operations, including aircraft inspections and readiness. Our work is primarily focused on national operations, but international deployments occur. The Aircraft Maintenance Unit consists of unit leadership, 11th and 12th aircraft maintenance companies, the aircraft workshop, and Availability Group 94. The aircraft workshop consists of four sections, including an aircraft workshop where we perform heavy maintenance on JAS 39. Main Responsibilities As an aircraft mechanic, you will be part of one of our teams performing corrective and preventive maintenance as well as inspections on JAS 39 Gripen aircraft. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Completed technical education at upper secondary school level and/or equivalent knowledge as assessed by the employer as equivalent Driver's license class B minimum (manual) Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
