The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Order and Logistics for our Components team within Hitachi Energy in Ludvika. The business unit is responsible for manufacturing and global delivery of transformer components that are critical to reliable and energy-efficient power systems worldwide. In this role, you will have overall management responsibility for order and logistics operations and will lead the organization through managers with their own personnel responsibilities. You are a key person in the factory's leadership and actively contribute to both business development and operational excellence. You will be part of the unit's/factory's leadership team and report directly to the factory manager. How You Will Make an Impact As Director of Order and Logistics, you are responsible for strategy, results, and development within your area. You will ensure that operations deliver according to customer commitments, business objectives, and internal requirements, while building a strong and sustainable organization. Lead and develop the organization through subordinate managers, with full responsibility for results, capacity, and competence within order and logistics. Actively contribute to the factory's/unit's leadership team and drive strategy, priorities, and long-term development in line with business objectives. Ensure an efficient and quality-assured order-to-cash flow, from customer order through delivery and payment. Manage complex customer escalations and balance customer demands with the factory's and company's interests. Drive continuous improvements and productivity initiatives through cross-functional collaboration, new approaches, and tools. Your Background We are looking for someone with experience leading larger or complex operations in an industrial environment. Higher education in logistics, supply chain, or equivalent relevant work experience. Substantial experience with order and delivery processes, preferably from manufacturing or industrial operations. Documented leadership experience, including responsibility for leading and developing managers and teams. Good understanding of ERP systems and digital tools related to order management and deliveries. Very strong communication skills and fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You are a confident and clear leader who creates engagement and trust.
