Renova is growing and taking on new assignments, so we need to hire more skilled and great drivers. Primarily for summer temporary positions, but also with excellent opportunities for extended employment. Work Tasks A varied and independent job involving the collection and emptying of waste and materials. You plan your assigned routes with consideration for time, environment, and economy, as well as accuracy for our customers, and you maintain continuous communication with your group leader and traffic management. The work also includes daily inspection and maintenance of the vehicle. Why Work at Renova? What Does a Day Look Like? • Collection and transport of waste and materials in Gothenburg and surrounding municipalities. • Planned routes with consideration for time, environment, economy, and accuracy. • Communication with group leader and traffic management. • Daily inspection and maintenance of the vehicle. At Renova, we have several different types of vehicles, including: • Rear-loading vehicles (garbage trucks) • Interchangeable cargo systems • Lift dumpers • Vacuum and slurry trucks • Tail-gate vehicles • Crane trucks Our bases are located in Gothenburg (Holmen and Säve), Kungälv, and Stenungsund. Our working hours are mostly daytime, weekdays, but there are also shifts in the evenings and/or weekends. Qualifications You need to have: • Class C driver's license • YKB (Basic Occupational License) • Driver's card • Ability to speak, understand, and write Swedish at an independent level • Good computer skills • Good physical condition For certain vehicles/assignments, you may also need: • Class CE license • ADR (hazardous materials) • Crane certification Who Are You? You have good collaboration skills, listen actively, and show respect for others while working toward common goals. Additionally, you are independent and take responsibility for your assignments by making decisions within your mandate and driving work forward. Employment Type We are primarily looking for summer temporary employees (2-5 months), but there is also the possibility of extension, and even permanent positions in certain areas (applicable for rear-loading vehicles based in Gothenburg).
