About the Position As a CCTV operator, you will work from a monitoring center where you monitor camera feeds, handle incoming alarms, and respond quickly to anomalies. The role requires a high level of security awareness, good observation skills, and the ability to make well-founded decisions in various situations. You are a central part of the security chain and serve as the link between technology, security personnel, and clients. Responsibilities Active camera monitoring of construction sites and residential areas Monitoring of entry and exit passages and identification of unusual behavior Reception and handling of alarms from camera, telephone, and alarm systems Forwarding alarms and information according to established procedures Communication with security personnel, supervisors, contractors, and emergency services as needed Conduct of check-ins and check-outs as well as connection tests Documentation of incidents, accidents, and other anomalies Report writing in digital systems Inspection of technical equipment and reporting of faults and malfunctions Active contribution to a safe and secure area through preventive monitoring We are Looking for Someone Who Is careful, takes responsibility, and has a strong security mindset Has good observation skills and can quickly and accurately analyze situations Enjoys working in a structured manner even under time pressure Has good collaboration and communication skills Has good computer skills and experience with administrative systems Meritorious Experience with alarm handling, security work, or camera surveillance Experience working in a monitoring center or alarm center Passed security guard training VU1 and VU2 Multilingual Requirements B-category driver's license No criminal record, drug-free, and with orderly finances Approved by the County Administrative Board for work at an authorized security company Fluent Swedish in speech and writing High integrity and understanding of confidentiality and personal data handling Ability to follow instructions, regulations, and security procedures Background check and security vetting may be conducted We Offer An important and socially beneficial role in the security industry Work with modern security technology and advanced surveillance systems Opportunity to develop within security and surveillance A dedicated team and a professional work environment Introduction and support to succeed in the role Employment according to collective agreement (Security Agreement) Employment Type The position may involve work on day, evening, and night shifts.
