On behalf of our client, Miljonbemanning is now seeking engaged and service-oriented bus drivers for permanent full-time employment. The client is an established player in public transportation and works daily to create safe, sustainable, and well-functioning journeys for a large number of passengers. As a bus driver, you will be an important part of daily public transportation and have a central role in meeting passengers. You are the client's face to the public and contribute through your service, your driving, and your responsibility to a positive travel experience. Job Description As a bus driver, you are responsible for operating buses on scheduled routes according to timetables and applicable procedures. You are responsible for passenger safety and comfort and for ensuring that traffic operations are conducted safely, professionally, and with a service-oriented approach. Your role includes, among other things: Operating buses in public transportation in a safe and responsible manner Providing good service and information to passengers Handling traffic disruptions and deviations calmly and professionally Collaborating with traffic control and colleagues Inspecting the vehicle and reporting any faults, damage, or discrepancies Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and well-functioning work environment This work is suitable for you if you thrive with responsibility, people, and varying workdays. You need to be able to work independently, make sound decisions in traffic, and be responsive to both passengers and colleagues. We Are Looking For You Who have a valid driver's license with Category D authorization have a valid YKB certification can communicate well in Swedish both verbally and in writing are reliable, responsible, and service-oriented have a good ability to handle stress and solve problems on the road are punctual, flexible, and have good collaboration skills are comfortable using digital systems and mobile-based tools in your work It is an advantage if you have previous experience with bus driving, scheduled routes, paratransit, shuttle services, or other professional passenger transport. It is also advantageous if you have good local knowledge of the Nacka and Stockholm area and if you speak multiple languages. Other Information This is a staffing assignment. The position is a permanent employment on either part-time or full-time basis with placement in Nacka and Värmdö. Working hours are scheduled and may vary based on traffic needs, which means work may occur early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
