Residential Support Worker at Group Home Trädgården
Popis:
About You From experience, we know we will receive over 50 applications. 2 will be hired. We will select employees with great care. We therefore want to be clear that your application really must show who you are and what you want to contribute to our group home. If you are not passionate about working with people with mental disabilities - do not apply. The people living with us have autism combined with developmental disability. If you don't like that, that's of course perfectly fine, but then apply for another job. If you are unsure whether you should apply for this job - do not. Are you a flexible person who can imagine working with anything - do not apply for this job. This job is not just anything. Has the employment agency told you that you must apply for a lot of jobs and you found our ad and feel forced to apply - do not apply to us. If you feel that your mobile phone is as important as, or more important than doing good work, and that Facebook, Instagram and TikTok are part of your job duties – do not apply. If you are unsure how a clock works, or have trouble keeping an appointment - do not apply. If you do not have appropriate education or experience, or a strong will to really learn – do not apply. If you do not meet the requirements - do not apply. A tough introduction? Yes absolutely, but as a residential support worker you are a disabled person's representative and right hand. If you are the right person, we really look forward to receiving your application! It is of great importance that we hire the right people. To thrive in the role of residential support worker, you must enjoy actively working with people. We put the individual at the center, which requires you to express yourself clearly and adapt your way of communicating in different situations. We document all interventions performed, which is why you must be fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing. You will work with individualized support tailored to each resident's needs to create the best conditions for as independent a life as possible. It is therefore important that you are a stable and secure point for the residents. You are structured and quality-conscious and want to contribute to business development. You will become part of a fantastic team and together with our residents you will become a tight group that helps each other grow. We see the group home Trädgården as a place to develop, both for the residents and for the staff. We are a so-called BoDa operation (BOende och DAglig verksamhet - Residential and Daily Activities), which means that as an employee with us, you also manage daily activities and daytime activities for our residents. We want you to have relevant education, but the most important thing for us is to put the right person in the right place. By relevant education we mean, for example, a secondary-level care education, childcare worker, or higher education in behavioral science. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. So if you feel this could be a fantastic job, you are warmly welcome to send us your application. Your Tasks As a residential support worker, your job will be to help our residents with a functioning daily life with good care and stimulating leisure. We have 6 places, and with us you work both at the group home and in daily activities. Those living with us are people with severe autism combined with developmental disability, which is a fantastic but challenging target group to work with. Common tasks can include cooking, taking residents out on activities, helping them with ADL as well as planning and carrying out activities in our daily operations. You will support and guide in training and daily routines both in and outside the home to provide the best conditions for a good life. We also work with contact person responsibilities, which means that you, as an employee with us, will have ultimate responsibility for contact with one of our residents' relatives and representatives. Tasks can vary from day to day, and therefore it is important that you are attentive, take initiative, and are not afraid to pitch in when needed. The group home is staffed 365 days a year and work is scheduled with alternating days, evenings, and weekends. We work every other weekend. We have sleeping night duty, which means you sleep at work but should be prepared to work if any of the residents need care. Salary, Compensation and Benefits We follow Kommunal's collective agreement. The positions are full-time; however, employment level can be discussed based on individual preferences. Start date by agreement. Positions are filled on an ongoing basis, so please submit your application as soon as possible. We handle recruitment ourselves and do not wish to be contacted by recruitment firms.
