About Lönnvägen's Group Home We are seeking additional staff for our newly established group home in Trollbäcken in Tyresö who can work on an hourly basis as needed during the summer and beyond. Opportunities for permanent scheduled employment with fixed-term contracts are available. Lönnvägen's group home is located in an established residential area with proximity to nature, seaside swimming, and Trollbäcken center. It is a newly established group home with a total of six apartments. Currently, three residents live in the home, and more residents may move in during spring. In total, six people will live in the group home. The residents are young adults with a need for social interaction and activities. They have intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, and mental health challenges, each with individual needs and support requirements. They also require clear routines, structure, and an educational approach. We work using evidence-based methods and apply a low-arousal approach. About the Position The work involves providing support and services to the residents so they can live lives similar to others. This means you are responsible for providing help and support in their daily lives and creating a safe and developmental environment for those living here. It is important that you follow the residents' and the facility's daily structure, maintain contact with healthcare services, psychiatry, and dental care, administer medication, interpret needs and wishes, assist with shopping and routine household tasks such as cleaning and maintenance, participate in various leisure activities, provide support in social contacts, and maintain a positive work environment. Documentation and follow-ups are also an important part of the work. You will work on a schedule with varying hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnight on-call shifts, and every other weekend plus public holidays. We seek someone with a genuine interest in working within LSS and the ability to understand the life situation of people with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum conditions. We seek someone who can work varying hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as well as overnight on-call shifts. In addition to being able to work varying hours, we seek someone with the ability to understand the life situation of people with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, and mental health challenges. Education as a nursing assistant, childcare worker, or similar, as well as previous experience in similar LSS work such as group homes or day activities, is advantageous. A requirement we have is that you can read, write, and understand documentation. Therefore, you must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
