About the Position As a residential support worker at Fokushuset, you will be based in Norrtälje where you will also have your assignments, as well as in Rimbo and surrounding areas. You will help adults between 18 and 65 years old who have various support needs due to a psychiatric disability or comorbidity. You work primarily in their homes. The user's individual needs and wishes guide your work, and you provide valuable support in daily life using the ESL and MI methods. You work with, not for, the person who needs support. You support toward greater independence by creating conditions for easier management of everyday life together with the user. This is a permanent position. Your responsibilities include, among other things: Provide services in the customer's home based on support decisions. Plan, implement, and participate in daily activities. Motivate the user to develop and use their own skills. Provide support in contacts with authorities. Accompany users on activities. Provide digital residential support through video calls. Document. About You For this position, you need: Experience working with this target group. At least upper secondary education in care and social services or other equivalent education. Knowledge of the MI method (Motivational Interviewing). You have good interaction skills with everyone you meet. Flexibility is one of your strengths, and you thrive working independently.
