About the Position As a residential support worker at Fokushuset, you are based in Norrtälje where you also carry out your assignments, as well as in Rimbo and surrounding areas. You help adults aged 18 to 65 who have various support needs based on psychiatric disabilities or comorbidities. You work primarily in their homes. The user's individual needs and preferences guide your work, and you provide valuable support in daily life using the ESL and MI methods. You work with, not for, the person who needs support. You support towards increased independence by creating conditions for managing everyday life together with the user. This is a permanent position. Your work tasks include: Carry out interventions in customers' homes based on support decisions. Plan, implement, and participate in daily activities. Motivate the user to develop and use their own skills. Provide support with contacts with authorities. Accompany users in activities. Provide digital residential support through video calls. About You For this position you need: Experience with the target group. At least a high school education in care and nursing or equivalent education. Knowledge of the MI method (Motivational Interviewing). You have good interactions with everyone you meet. Flexibility is one of your strengths, and you enjoy working independently.
