We at Frösunda Omsorg are looking for you to work as a residential support worker during the summer at Lundagården, LSS housing in Bredaryd. Do you want to be part of our team this summer? As a residential support worker within LSS, you work to provide individually tailored support to people with disabilities in their daily lives. The goal is to strengthen the individual's independence, participation, and quality of life based on their own circumstances and needs. The role includes: Supporting residents in daily activities such as personal care, household tasks, and leisure activities Working based on implementation plans and contributing to ensuring these are followed and developed Creating structure, safety, and motivating support in the individual's everyday life Collaborating with colleagues, family members, and other professionals Documenting in accordance with applicable legislation and guidelines We are looking for someone who is empathetic, responsible, and has a genuine interest in working with people. You are flexible, attentive, and have the ability to adapt your approach based on the individual's needs. About Lundagården Lundagården is located in Bredaryd, two miles west of Värnamo. We offer qualified care and housing options for adults with mental disabilities. Lundagården consists of 19 places in LSS housing distributed across three well-functioning units. Lunden 1 – five places, Lunden 2 – seven places, and Smeden – five places. In addition, the operation has two apartments in the community. In our common areas, we meet, socialize, and carry out various activities, ranging from a coffee break for two to shared house activities. According to residents' wishes, we arrange, for example, music quizzes, play board games, and sing along. When we want to go on outings or do shopping, we use our own minibus. This bus gives us the freedom to explore the surroundings in an easy way. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should find it easy to collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed. We would like you to have education or ongoing education in care and support. It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience working with LSS and have care experience. You must have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We would like you to have good physical ability. We would like you to have a B-class driver's license. Additional Information Employment type: Summer temp Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment Start date: June, July, and August 2025 We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews take place on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. In connection with a potential employment, you must be able to present a certificate from the criminal record register.
