The Workplace The Social Services Department in Karlsborg is responsible for elderly care, care for persons with disabilities, municipal health and medical services, and child and family services. The individual performs the tasks themselves with motivating support from the residential support worker, with the goal of eventually being able to manage their daily life independently and live a more self-reliant life. The support is individualized and guided by an implementation plan created together with the individual. As a residential support worker, you will visit most users on your own. The work also includes social documentation, working toward established goals, and collaboration with various partners. Qualifications It is advantageous if you have knowledge of methods such as motivational interviewing, low-arousal approaches, and alternative and augmentative communication. It is also advantageous if you have experience working with our target groups and with residential support. This is a job for you if you enjoy challenges and see possibilities in each individual. We are looking for someone who is responsible, creative, and attentive to the users' needs. You should be patient and reflective, with good interpersonal skills toward users, colleagues, and collaboration partners. We are looking for someone with strong collaboration abilities and a high service orientation. Work planning for the day can change on short notice, so you need to be able to adapt to changing situations. The work requires good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
