We are now looking for a strategic communicator for a parental leave replacement who wants to contribute to our development, strengthen democratic participation, and build trust through communication. THIS IS WHAT YOUR WORK WILL INVOLVE In the role of communication strategist, you will work both operatively and strategically. You will become part of a cheerful and cohesive team in the HR and Communications Department, where we together support the organization with everything from content production and advisory services to communication planning and crisis communication. The position has a special focus on the municipality's digital communication solutions, where you will be responsible for developing, managing, and supporting work in various communication systems and digital tools. You will also play an important role in the municipality's crisis communication efforts, both through planning, development of procedures, and support during actual incidents. The assignment also includes leading and driving communication initiatives linked to major projects and operational development. We are therefore looking for someone who enjoys combining technical understanding, strategic thinking, and communication skills, and who can switch between long-term development work and operational tasks when the organization needs it. THIS ROLE REQUIRES THAT YOU: Have an academic degree in media and communication or another degree that we as an employer consider equivalent. Have experience with qualified communication work and strategic advisory to managers or at management level. Have good knowledge of Sitevision or equivalent CMS tools. Are a skilled writer with experience in writing clear language and adapting communication to different target audiences and channels. Have experience with or training in crisis communication or strategic crisis management. WE VALUE THIS HIGHLY: Experience driving communication work in project form. Experience working in municipal or state operations that are politically controlled. YOUR PERSONAL QUALITIES We believe you are a person with analytical abilities and a good understanding of digital ways of working and platforms. You have the ability to see the bigger picture and understand how communication, digital infrastructure, and operational needs connect. Your daily work includes both high-level and hands-on tasks – you are equally comfortable with strategic planning as with operational implementation. As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and a skilled relationship builder. You find it easy to build trust, listen to the organization's needs, and collaborate smoothly with different types of people. You enjoy taking on the role of advisor and educator, and feel comfortable speaking to both large and small groups. At the same time, you have a strong internal drive; you are independent, prioritize the right things, and ensure that projects reach completion. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
