Currently, over 200 employees work in our department. We lay the foundation for lifelong learning by offering secure care and stimulating learning environments. We offer our children and young people meaningful leisure activities through our after-school programs. Hidinge School is an F-6 school with approximately 350 students and 35 employees. The school is located near Lanna, about 20 km outside Örebro. The school is organized into four work teams: two teams for grades F-3, one for grades 4-6, and one for after-school care. Our school strives for high participation and a good work environment where a holistic perspective is prioritized. Job Responsibilities We are looking for someone driven by the desire and commitment to continue developing our operations. As an assistant principal, you will have an exciting, varied, and responsible role. You will work toward improved school results, equal opportunities for all to achieve learning goals, and systematic improvement work that strengthens learning. In close collaboration with the principal, you will lead work on pedagogical development, school organization, and finances. As assistant principal, you will have operational and personnel responsibility for after-school activities and support staff. Your responsibilities include pedagogical development, student health issues, professional development, personnel matters, finances, and other typical administrative tasks. You will have operational responsibility with management, development, follow-up, and collaboration duties, and you will work to achieve the goals we have set together. The position includes approximately 50% teaching. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: • has a college/university degree with a pedagogical focus that the employer considers appropriate for the position • is well acquainted with primary school's mission and governing documents • has good digital skills and experience using digital tools in work • can express yourself well in speech and writing • has leadership experience We would appreciate it if you have an interest in and experience with finances.
