WORK DUTIES Växtplats i Kalmar AB is embarking on an exciting development journey. From fall 2026, we are bringing our operations together into a unified organization to create even clearer direction, shared working methods, and a strong culture. We are now seeking an Assistant Production Manager who will be a key person in holding together daily operations, supporting our team leaders and staff, and ensuring that our workflows function smoothly every day. This role is for you if you thrive in close proximity to operations, enjoy creating structure, and want to contribute to both business production and service delivery while supporting a socially sustainable mission of great importance to society in multiple ways. You will lead daily operations and establish, follow, and develop routines, culture, and working methods that are shared within VIKAB. Your role includes particular responsibility for maintaining workflows within both contract manufacturing and service offerings. You will work closely with the Production Manager and serve as a bridge between operational areas, management, and staff. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone with a university degree or relevant post-secondary vocational training that we consider equivalent, as well as some form of leadership training. To succeed in this role, you need experience in production in a leadership position. You also have good understanding of workflow management, planning, and quality assurance. Your ability to lead through others and communicate is high. As a person, you are organized, a relationship-builder, solution-oriented, a culture-builder, and a team player. You thrive in operations-focused and hands-on leadership, and you are willing to lead, prioritize, and make decisions. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
