We are now recruiting a Treatment Educator/Social Educator to join our team at Nytida Strandhagen in Sävsjö. We offer training and a rewarding job where you make a difference! This is a full-time position with evening shifts and work every other weekend. About Strandhagen Nytida Strandhagen in Sävsjö is a small and personal treatment home for women from 18 years old, most commonly aged 18-30 years. The treatment home offers comprehensive women's treatment in the form of DBT treatment (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is applied individually for people not included in DBT treatment. Personality disorders and neuropsychiatric diagnoses such as ADHD, ADD, and autism spectrum disorder are common. At Nytida, we are in constant development. As a treatment assistant and contact person, you fill an important function in the daily work of supporting people toward a more independent life with great respect for the individual's right to self-determination. You will have close collaboration with other contact persons and treatment staff. Your tasks also include documenting according to applicable legislation, administering medication on delegation, and participating in the facility's common activities and work tasks. Your Experience and Knowledge We are looking for you who value and feel a strong commitment to making a difference for women with mental health issues. You who are applying have higher education with a focus on social work or at least a 2-year post-secondary education in social work. Knowledge and experience in the following areas are meritorious: CBT, MI, DBT, low-arousal approach, mental health issues, neuropsychiatric diagnoses. Otherwise, you have good computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
