SiS LVM-home Renforsen in Vindeln accepts men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse disorders. The institution is tasked with providing care for clients with special resource needs. JOB DESCRIPTION: Do you want to make a life-changing difference for vulnerable people? SiS LVM-home Renforsen is seeking two employees for our operations. The role of treatment pedagogue/assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. The goal of your assignment is to motivate our clients toward new and less risky ways of living. The assignment includes providing care and treatment. Examples of other responsibilities include: You contribute to the routines on the unit functioning as intended. You play a significant role in stability and safety for our clients, and form the foundation of daily life. You help maintain order and safety at the institution according to our procedures. Documentation is an important part of your work. You work on building secure relationships and help ensure our clients receive the safety and security they need to break ingrained behaviors. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues, you contribute to achieving good results and change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, rewarding, and varied. Our vision is to be a place for change, which permeates our approach, engagement, and mindset. Working hours follow a schedule: day, evening, and weekends. As a new employee, you will complete SiS basic training over 10 weeks. The training alternates theory with supervised introduction and equips you for the treatment role in SiS operations. QUALIFICATIONS: Your personal suitability is key to life-changing impact. Therefore, you need a strong ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a well-founded positive view of humanity, strong empathetic ability, and the ability to build good relationships. You have strong communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues. We also value personal suitability. You must also have: At least 2 years of post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) or equivalent education. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area.* Class B driver's license Good Swedish in speech and writing *Exceptions to the requirement for at least two years of post-secondary education may be made in individual cases if there are special grounds according to Section 5, Chapter 4 of the Social Services Ordinance (2025:468). It is a merit if you have: Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, for example within psychiatry or LSS care Experience from client-facing positions within the Prison and Probation Service Experience from client-facing positions within other public operations Education within health and social care Experience working with substance abuse care and the target group of men At SiS we value good collegial relationships.
